You can select the available additional extras and covers for your rental at additional cost when you make your booking or when you pick up your vehicle.  

Young Driver Surcharge: Drivers under 25 years old must buy this product to extend their cover (which is shown as an option if you have entered the site using your Europcar ID number).

Additional Driver (ADD): allows you to share the driving on your journey and enjoy the peace of mind that someone else is covered to drive if needed. All potential drivers are to be mentioned on the rental agreement.

Damage Cover Products include:

• Premium Cover: Our premium level of cover allows you the highest reduction to the basic Damage Liability Fee / Excess amount if there is Damage, theft of the vehicle or Third Party Loss.
• Medium Cover: Our medium level of cover allows you to reduce the basic Damage Liability Fee / Excess amount if there is Damage, theft of the vehicle or Third Party Loss.
• Basic: Our basic level of cover is already included in the price at no additional cost, but if there is Damage, theft of the Vehicle or Third Party Loss you must pay an amount up to the basic Damage Liability Fee (DLF) / Excess amount even if you have travel or car rental excess insurance. Basic Cover does not cover you for damage to the Vehicle’s windscreen, headlights, wheels or tyres.

Please note there may be no cover for Damage, theft of the Vehicle or Third Party Loss in some circumstances. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Rental for a full understanding of Damage Cover inclusions and Exclusions.

Snow Cover: allows the vehicle to be driven on sealed roads above the snow line.

Unsealed Road Cover allows some ALWD and 4WD vehicles to be used on an unsealed road provided the road is gazetted and graded and maintained by a local, state, territory or government body, authority or council but it never allows the use of the vehicle off road.

Please check with the rental location when you pick up your vehicle as to the availability and cost of these additional covers.
