What are complimentary single and double car upgrades, and am I eligible?
Complimentary single and double car upgrades with Europcar allow you to rent a vehicle from a higher category than the one you booked, at no additional cost (upon fleet availability).
👉 Single car upgrade: you are eligible for this benefit when reaching the Privilege Executive status. After having booked your rental, direct yourself to your Europcar agency and benefit from one higher car category than the one booked, free of charge. Don't hesitate to ask the counter agent about it.
👉Double car upgrade: you are eligible for this benefit when reaching the Privilege Elite or Privilege Elite VIP statuses. After having booked your rental, direct yourself to your Europcar agency and benefit from one higher car category than the one booked, free of charge.
If not proactively offered, don't hesitate to ask your counter agent directly. This benefit is subject to vehicle availability at time of pick-up.
Please note that complimentary upgrades are not available for van or truck rentals, during free weekend rentals or for rentals exceeding 14 days.
